How many lessons will I need?
Well, that depends on how quickly you learn.
If you have some experience of driving on the road, perhaps on a cycle or motorbike, you should already have some road sense.
If you have experience of driving other types of vehicles, such as a tractor or quad bike, you should already have some understanding of steering, position, ability to control your speed, etc.

I will tailor your lessons to exactly what YOU need
The DVSA (the people who set the driving tests) estimate that an average young person learning to drive will need approximately 40 hours of professional tuition, plus practice in between lessons with family/friends.
You may need less hours of lessons, or you may need more. Everyone is different. Everyone learns at a different pace. That is OK.
At DriveTime I will ensure that your lessons are tailored to exactly what YOU need, so that you learn as quickly as possible - so helping to keep the costs down.
We will also practise "independent driving" which is now part of the test - this is where you will be asked to follow the road signs to a particular destination, or follow sat nav directions. Don't worry, if you take the wrong turning you won't necessarily fail, you will only fail for an error in your driving skill, not your ability to remember directions. You are also able to ask the examiner to remind you where to go. Have a look at this link to see what is involved:
